Julie Coe

Coles County Clerk

Coles County Clerk Julie Coe was elected in November 2018 and assumed her duties as Clerk on December 1, 2018.

Prior to her election, Julie worked as a Recorder of deeds in the office and also served as Chief Deputy.

She worked for many years with her father, Jim Coffey, in his real estate business. She patterns her life after the character and integrity he, and her mom Joanie modeled. Serving people is something she loves, and she is excited to continue to be a servant to the people of Coles County.

Her family and her faith are of the utmost importance to her. She has been happily married to Jason Coe for 23 years. They have 3 children. Garin, Lyndee, and Brody. She also has 3 grandchildren who are the delight of their Grandmas heart!

One of her top priorities is for people to feel welcome and comfortable as they enter the office. The staff in her office are well qualified, as well as being personable and friendly!
