The Coles County Clerk & Recorders Office in Charleston, Illinois is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Full Time Election Deputy to be a part of our work family!
Office is located in Coles County Courthouse.
Hours are 8:30-4:30 M-F
Annual Salary is $30,000 w/15.5 Paid Holidays and Insurance Options
The key responsibilities in our office are:
- Elections
- Birth Certificates
- Death Certificates
- Marriage Licenses
- Land Records
- DBA’s
- Delinquent Taxes
Your specific duty as an Election Deputy, would be working in all things election related, however you will be cross trained to serve in all areas of the office.
Customer service and a friendly demeanor is of the utmost importance, and the ability to learn quickly is desired.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Confidentiality and Professionalism are a must.
- Computer skills, including Excel
